Some people ask me, why I still support America? My response is still America is the greatest country in the world. Time and time again we have gone down the wrong track and have been able to go back to where we belong. Even now with these liberal asses in control of this great Country. True Americans are awaking and realizing how horrible things are. Take these T.E.A parties for example, real conservative people (democrats,republicans, and independents), are getting together to protest all this spending. It's been a long time since people have gone to the streets like this to demand change. Again, I do not think negative anymore, because I have trust in American people. Because America is great because of its people, not so much the government nor the military. This was a short post but I did want to encourage everyone of you who has become discouraged. Put your trust back into American people, and take it away from dirty politicians.

I was hoping you might actually be able to write well, considering that one would be hard pressed to find someone lower on the grammarian bell curve than the other guy. Color me disappointed.

I don't believe he's making fun of the unemployed rather making a reference to the Tax Day and Independence Day Tea Parties where people are going out and demanding Barack Obama stop his ridiculousness and let people have back the freedom that they have the right to.

ReplyDeleteSadly, it would seem obvious to most people that today's Tea Parties have nothing to do with the Boston Tea Party since they are not about 'taxation without representation’. Although, to take that position is to miss the point of the event that sparked the flame that led to the American Revolution.
ReplyDeleteThe colonists were fighting against tyranny. The British government needed revenue to maintain its presence in the colonies in order to keep the colonies loyal to the crown. In other words, they had to pay Brittan excessive taxes which were used to oppress them.
The question is, “Are we in danger of a tyrannical government?” Indeed we are.
Noah Webster, in his 1828 dictionary, defines tyranny as "the exercise of power ... with a rigor not authorized by law or justice, or not requisite for the purposes of government."
What has Obama done that is authorized by law (the Constitution)? Everything he has done has flown in the face of the Constitution. None of it has anything to do with the ‘purposes of government’ set forth by our Founding Fathers.
Obama has necessitated an increase in taxes heretofore unseen in this country. We the producers and our children and our children’s children (at least) will be strapped to pay for the absolute unconstitutional waste of money which has done nothing but grow government larger and create more and more life-time dependence on it.
His actions, along with Congress’, are tyrannical by definition. Period.
In principle, therefore, the ‘Tea Parties’ of today are synonymous with the Party in 1773.
